Clicking (button) Add Hard Disk (list item) causes the following (consistently repeatable),

As of 2016-09-17, the most recent test build (Windows | 5.1.x revision 110711), does not resolve the issue.

Summary of Bug
Navigating Virtualbox Manager controls in the following manner, causes Virtualbox Manager to seize and become unresponsive.
VBox Manager (left pane, click on applicable VM, see next item)
VM (centos 5.11 64-bit)
Storage
Controller: SATA
Add new Stroage Attachment (button)
Add Hard Disk (list item)
Under Virtualbox version 5.1.6 r110634 (Qt 5.5.1) for Windows, system siezes and becomes unresponsive. Clicking the Debug (button) causes VBox Manager to close unexpectedly.
Under Virtualbox version 5.1.7 r110711 (Qt 5.5.1) for Windows (most recent test build as of 2016-09-17), upon clicking Add Hard Disk (list item), VBox Manager close unexpectedly (doesn’t offer dialog with Debug (button), VBox Manager Window disappears).
