D. Stokes suggested use of “Consistently, Always, Sometimes, Never….” (frequency descriptors)

Use same qualifiers. S. Schoonover and Larry Einus will help with language. (tell C. Bly)

We could rename ”Quality Performance Assessment” (QPA) “Expression” doesn’t go under balance. This committee will move forward

3. Marching Festival Committee (R. Carroll)

First meeting last night, Google discussion group. Working on VBODA “MBQPA” Statement of Purpose: To provide constructive criticism….Recommend: Regional base of management. What needs to be looked at: Rubric (we already have; can be updated) Adjudicator expectations: What do we want on the tape? Some would like caption judging. Some would like a link to a survey to respond to their festival experience.

4. Orchestra Region Committee:

Committee held open-format meeting yesterday; about 20 orchestra directors represented…discussed District format, decided against. Discussed possible 5th region in west; no one there to represent….Ongoing discussion
