Individuals in Open Qualifier can combine with other branch/centre members to form a mixed team and will be eligible to qualify for the Championships. If a mixed team does qualify then the next best placed ‘full branch/centre’ team will also qualify.

Entry Fee for all classes includes £3 contribution towards First Aid

All teams are made up of three or four members with best three scores to count

RULES and CONDITIONS of ENTRY

- LEGAL LIABILITY: Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of the event nor the Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, or the landlord or landowner, his tenant(s), his contractors or his licensee accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

- HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE: The organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

- THIRD PARTY INSURANCE: The Pony Club Third Party Legal Liability Insurance Policy does not provide cover to non-members, it is up to non-members to arrange their own cover. The Vine Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.

The Vine Hunt branch of the Pony Club cannot be held responsible for any damage to persons, horses or property howsoever caused and it is a condition of entry that all rules will be accepted.

All persons entering the grounds shall be bound by these Rules and Conditions

1. To be run in accordance with the Pony Club Dressage Rules 2017 found on the Pony Club website: http://www.pcuk.org/index.php/sports/dressage/dressage_rules/. It is the responsibility of the competitors to know the rules.

2. The judges’ decisions are final and the Organisers reserve the right to alter any part of the schedule or to refuse entries without stating the reason.

3. Any objections must be made in writing and handed in to the show secretary with a deposit of £25. In the event of the objection being sustained the deposit will be refunded.

4. In the event of cancellation the entry fees will be refunded, although the organisers will reserve the right to keep £5 per competitor for expenses. In the case of abandonment no refunds will be given except at the discretion of the organising committee.

5. Withdrawals: Half the entry fee will be refunded by the Organiser for withdrawals, provided notice is received in writing by the Entries Secretary before Friday the 23rd June. Withdrawals notified after this date will not be refunded unless a veterinary or medical certificate is produced within one week of the event.

6. Hats: All riding hats must be tagged, if not they must be inspected and tagged (must comply with current Pony Club 2017 regulations) by the Show Secretary. Hats must be worn at all times when competitors are mounted and the chinstrap securely fastened.

7. Jewellery: No jewellery is allowed

8. Spurs: Only to be worn by full ‘B’ test holders or with permission of the DC or Centre Proprietor to be shown in the form of a signed spur card.

9. Warming up of horses in the Box/Trailer/Car Parks is strictly prohibited.

10.Horses/ponies tied to the outside of trailers/lorries MUST NOT be left unattended
