Video Content Strategy
Wednesday 03 July, IAB, Holborn

About
Video content is big and getting bigger. By 2016 it’s anticipated that 86% of consumer web traffic will be video, and 60% of UK companies plan to increase their video budgets in 2013.

With audiences increasingly less likely to watch video advertising online, it’s powerful branded content that gets the most attention, awareness and action. Brands that get it right will plan for and incorporate online video into their marketing mix, and optimize video media for search, social and mobile.

In this session we’ll look at what cutting edge digital video producers are doing and showcase best practice across the digital video industry.

Speakers and panellists
Johnny Webb,Managing Director, Sundog Pictures (former MD of Virgin Media TV and Living TV Group)

Johnny leaves the warm bosom of broadcast with 16 years of experience, from programme and digital commissioning to full on executive management and everything in between, having run Virgin Media TV (latterly known as Living TV Group) and the converged sales house IDS. He is passionate about two screen storytelling to add texture and depth to a narrative whether that's a tweet or a phone application. He says 'Factual is the last genre to have the digital makeover - how can we engage factual audiences more profoundly and go on to give them the tools to explore and share great stories'.
