VICENZAORO SEPTEMBER 2017 – THE JEWELLERY BOUTIQUE SHOW

EVENTS AND MEETINGS

Vicenza, September, 23rd-27th 2017 – The International Jewellery Exhibition VICENZAORO, organised by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) – the most important Italian exhibition & convention provider born from the merger between Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza, Vicenza - announces for this edition as a compulsory meeting points in order to deepen the many themes related to jewellery and watches through the organization of seminars and meetings held by authoritative industry experts or representatives of authorities and institutions.

In the sign of continuity with the key topic for 2017, linked to Corporate Social Responsibility in the goldsmith-jewellery world, in VICENZAORO September 2017 the theme of the event will be Green Jewellery, focusing on social responsibility and sourcing policies of all used materials in the field.

The same Corporate Social Responsibility on Sunday, September 24th, will be at the heart of the relations of the Seminar, organized by CIBJO - World Jewellery Confederation, the World Confederation of Jewelers - in partnership with Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A., with the participation and the work of international experts that will talk about " Impact on the EU conflict minerals legislation and strategies for dealing with its requirements".

The topic, of great relevance, concerns the legal issues to be learned and the business strategies to be undertaken regarding the respect of precise codes of ethics in the world of jewellery and goldsmith.

In recent years, the need for all jewellery components to come from responsible sources and to be managed and purchased ethically has become the main part to the business of the most important companies operating in the luxury markets, with the consequent creation of services offering tools and methods to ensure the integrity and transparency of the branch.

The aim of the conference is to clarify and illustrate to businesses companies what instruments of ethical code implementation processes and related control procedures can be in order to obtain the most appropriate solutions to meet the requirements of the market and thus be more competitive.

VICENZAORO September 2017 confirms its role as the forerunner and precursor of the FUTURE TRENDS thanks to the collaboration with TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, the global gold and jewellery forecasting Observatory. As usual, on Saturday, September 23rd, the presentation of TRENDBOOK 2019+ by Paola De Luca, Forecaster & Creative Director, is expecting. TRENDBOOK is today an even more contemporary tool because it is presented with layout and codes of digital language, a pillar for all job insiders - international visitors, buyers, designers and international trendsetters - interested in having an absolute preview of a global view of what will be the trends of 2019. Still on the theme of the trend, meetings continue with TRENDVISION Buying Trails: ESSENTIALS & ICONS, which, successfully launched in the last edition of January 2017, are produced in partnership with TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting and led by Paola De Luca. Buying Trails are real shopping paths, designed to support buyers during orientation activity at VICENZAORO September 2017 and selection of productive offer and presented during short seminars.

TRENDVISION Buying Trails ESSENTIALS & ICONS will especially drive through the ICON and LOOK & Glamroom retailers and buyers to find out the most representative jewellery and collections of the market trends identified by the Observatory and with the routes of ESSENTIALS, instead, the wholesaler and designer's public in the identification of semi-finished products, of components and precious stones for the creation of jewels through the CREATION and ESSENCE districts.

VICENZAORO September 2017 put the attention on one of the most current issues with DIGITAL TALKS, a cycle of meetings on digital innovation in the supply chain with the aim of providing useful tools and reflection ideas to the retail world, approaching digitization processes with increasing interest. Organized with leading digital retail experts, who will illustrate successful case histories with companies from different sectors, Digital Talks revolve around the importance of the omnichannel and the need to debut in e-commerce, the complexity of programming an effective social campaign and measurement of customer experience online up to the issue of payments.

The calendar is completed by the award ceremony of the Next Jeneration Jewellery Talent Contest 2017; the official Opening of VICENZAORO September 2017; the press preview of the "Jewel and Function" Exhibition; the event dedicated to the Community of Glamroom "Glamroom the sparkling party"; VICENZAORO cocktail with DJ set every day.
