Come and be a part of a brand new venture in the historic market town of Newmarket! Iain Cope is opening a small animal and exotics practice and is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate veterinary nurse to join his new and vibrant team.

Iain qualified as a vet in 2006 and has gone on to become one of the UK’s leading exotics vets, regularly giving presentations, including to members of the Cambridge University Veterinary Zoological Society. Iain is very happy to pass on his knowledge and help develop anyone looking to gain more exposure to the world of exotics and in turn he is looking for a confident veterinary nurse with good general skills.

Iain is offering a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery purpose built to industry leading standards. This includes specifically designed species-specific wards. You will help support the use of state of the art equipment and facilities, whilst also running an in-house laboratory.

Person Specification

This rewarding position is full or part time (approx. 20 to 40 hours per week) with a 1 in 3 weekend rota and no OOH, meaning the team will enjoy an excellent work/life balance. There will be time off in lieu for weekends and bank holidays worked. Successful applicants should be confident with all aspects of veterinary nursing and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.
