Assignment:
Create a values continuum, which ranks ten values one has, ranging in order from most important to least important.
When you come to the _____ Teacher Initials, you must get the teacher’s initials before moving on to the next step.
Instructions:
Day 1:
Use each color of paper to represent a different value on the continuum as follows:
* Red = family / * Light Blue = friends* Brown = having children / * Green = money
* Pink = marriage / * White = education after high school
* Orange = a value of your choice related to a school issue / * Blue = a value of your choice related to a health issue
*Purple = a value of your choice related to an attitude / * Yellow = a value of your choice related to your appearance
Develop and cut out a symbol from each construction paper to represent the values listed above. The symbols should be at least two inches tall. Each symbol must be different for each value. Label each symbol with its corresponding value.

Get a black piece of construction paper and do the following:
- Develop and cut out a symbol to represent the “important side” of the values continuum. The symbol should be no larger than two inches tall. Label the front of this symbol as “important”. Place this symbol on the LEFT end of the continuum.
