SINGAPORE EXPO ANNOUNCES

VALUE PACKAGES AND SCHEMES FOR MICE ORGANISERS

22October 2009,Singapore. Value. Value. Value. – The three key pillars that had supported the fundamental intention for devising and recently launchinginnovative meetings packages and schemes for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibition (MICE)organisers by Singapore Expo.

Two distinctive packages – The Enhanced New Trade Show Scheme and Simply Expo and were rolled out to both the local and international organisers. They are:

The Enhanced New Trade Show Launch Scheme

The New Trade Show Launch Scheme launched in 2006 was aimed at assisting organisers in the development and growth of new shows and reduce substantially the up-front capital risk. In addition, the organisers enjoyed attractive and favourable rental packages.

To qualify for the New Trade Show Launch Scheme, the B2B, trade event must be:

  • Held for the first time at Singapore Expo
  • Held within its own dedicated hall (or part hall) with a separate entrance from any concurrently held event
  • Not have similar profiles as existing shows organised by the same organising company
  • Have its own specific identity (i.e logo), together with dedicated exhibitor and visitor promotional materials
  • Not lead to a reduction of an existing tenancy from another show held either concurrently or another show held on alternative dates by the same organiser at Singapore Expo

The Enhanced New Trade Show Launch Scheme is an ‘upgrade’ focused on providing more incentives to organisers to anchor their new exhibitions at Singapore Expo. In addition to the preferential rental packages and reduced risks related to initial capital outlay, organisers can look towards:

  • Complimentary PR support
  • Complimentary web banner placement on up to 2 months
  • Complimentary update and inclusion of event highlights on event calendar.
  • Complimentary use of registration counter
  • Reward Point System – Organisers will receive one Reward Point for every sqm of qualifiable space at Expo. These points will then be used to redeem a whole host of services from hall rental, A&P space, hotel rooms, F&B etc

Simply Expo

These are an ultimate collection of value packages aimed at providing the simplest of solutions for the highest of returns. Organisers can choose from a variety of packages to suit their specific requirements.

Simply Expo comprises:

Full Day Seminar /
  • A general meeting room that accommodates 40 to 1000 pax, equipped with theatre seating, stage, rostrum and other meeting facilities.
  • F&B - 2 Tea Breaks (Buffet) from a variety of items and an International Lunch

Half Day Seminar /
  • A general meeting room that accommodates 40 to 1000 pax, equipped with theatre seating, stage, rostrum and other meeting facilities.
  • F&B - 2 Tea Breaks (Buffet) from a variety of items and an International Lunch.

MEGA /
  • A function hall that accommodates 2000 to 5000 pax equipped with theatre seating, carpeting, basic light & sound system, drapery, stage, rostrum and other meeting facilities.
  • F&B - 2 Tea Breaks (Buffet) from a variety of items and an International Lunch.
  • Organisers get to enjoy a 30% discount on their second event day.

Entertainment /
  • An exciting itinerary beginning with a cultural performance for the opening ceremony, or an impressive meet-and-greet act for VIP guests.
  • It will be followed by a full day meeting or conference that includes 2 tea Break buffets and 1 International lunch buffet.
  • Minimum of 100 pax

Adventure /
  • This high-energy package includes a day packed with meetings and activities.
  • The day will begin with a hearty breakfast, followed by a half day meeting and lunch buffet.
  • The second half of the day will include visiting one of the key attractions located right next to Singapore Expo.
  • The attractions include a structured experiential programme that promises to be plenty of fun and full of bonding opportunities.
  • Minimum of 100 pax.

In addition, Singapore Expo has a whole suite of business amenities for delegates and organisers to utilise like the Business Centre, Pre-Function Spaces and even hotels, spa and leisure facilities in the nearby vicinity.
