Application Form

With the generous support of the UBC Wellbeing Initiative, we are pleased to announce that a special UTown@UBC Community Wellbeing Grant will be offered this semester. This grant will be awarded to projects that demonstrate a commitment to promoting the wellbeing, health, and social sustainability of UBC’s people and environments.

Application deadline is 4:30 pm on February 27. Please note the following when filling out your grant application:

1) To be eligible to apply, you must be a UBC student who is currently enrolled in classes.

2) You must submit this application form. Alternate reports and proposals will not be considered.

3) A detailed budget must be included with this application (see Section E)

4) Any funding used to pay an honorarium will require a T4A form to be issued by UBC.

5) Please allow a minimum of three weeks after accepting your grant to receive funding.

Section F: Marketing and Promotion
Describe in detail, how you plan to promote your project to the UTown@UBC community. Please consider the following questions:
  • Who is your primary target audience for this project?
  • How will you inform this audience about your project?
  • How will you expand and promote your project to secondary and tertiary audiences?
  • Which promotional channels will you use to ensure that your project is promoted to the entire campus community? (ex: The Campus Resident, The Ubyssey, social media, etc).
  • What types of collateral pieces will you need to create to promote your project? (advertisements, posters, handbills, swag, etc.)
