G.3.a.Master Facility Crossing Agreement With Northwestern Utilities Limited

1.That a Master Facility Crossing Agreement with Northwestern Utilities Limited be approved for use by the Transportation Department, Drainage Branch as a standard form.
2.That the Branch Manager of Transportation Department, Drainage Branch be authorized to amend the Master Facility Crossing Agreement by adding detailed drawings of various projects as additions to Schedule “B" of the Master Facility Crossing Agreement. / City Manager

G.3.b.Kilkenny and Ozerna Neighbourhood Public Utility Lot Redesignation

That the City of Edmonton redesignate Public Utility Lot 67, Block 38, Plan 812–1527 KILKENNY and Public Utility Lot 76, Block 50, Plan 892–0260 OZERNA, both located adjacent to 71 Street and 153 Avenue, to walkway right of way by the registration of right of way plans. / City Manager

G.CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS

G.2.PUBLIC WORKS

G.2.a.Alberta Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act Compliance/Release Reporting

A. Maurer, Public Works Department, answered the Committee's questions.

MOVEDM. Phair:

1.That the 1995 4th quarter report (Attachment I of the February 7, 1996 Public Works Department report) be received as information.
2.That future Alberta Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act Compliance/Release Reports be reviewed by the Environmental Steering Committee quarterly and submitted to Utilities and Public Works Committee only if there are warning letters, environmental protection orders or administrative penalties.
3.That, within 3 months, a report come to the UPW Committee from the Environmental Steering Committee indicating the environmental standards recommended to Council for the City and what information in terms of violations or difficulties would come forward to Council and what would stay with the Department. / City Manager

G.2.b.Kids in the Hall Lease

A. Maurer and K. Israel, Public Works Department, answered the Committee's questions.

1.That the lease to Edmonton City Centre Church Corporation be approved for the purpose of operating a food service outlet and food service training facility located in a portion of the South Wing, Main Floor City Hall.
2.That the lease be in a form acceptable to the City Solicitor and in contents acceptable to the General Manager of the Public Works Department. / City Manager
