Managing Live TV Streams

LogicTV supports up to 6 Live TV streams to your household. A TV stream can be a live TV show, an On Demand program or a Pay Per View (PPV) event. If you have 2 or more TVs tuned to the same live TV program, you’ll only be using 1 live TV stream. Also, watching programs that have already been recorded on your PVR doesn’t use a live stream.

If you try to watch or record more live TV programs than you have available streams, your LogicTV service will present you with options to either select the programs that you wish to watch or record, or interrupt a program on another TV.

With your LogicTV DVR, while the live TV streams are being used to watch or record live programs, you can watch up to 4 recorded programs on your other TVs. Viewing a recorded program does not use a live TV stream as it is stored on your DVR.

Restart TV – no DVR required!

Restart lets you watch a show already in progress from the beginning. So whether you tune in midway or just as the credits are rolling, you can simply start from the beginning by hitting Restart.

As you browse the guide, programs that can be restarted will be identified by the Restart symbol. As you flip through channels, if a channel is ‘restart’ enabled it will be identified at the bottom of your screen.

Note: Restart TV is not available on all channels

There are 2 ways to restart a show

  1. While tuned to a channel or within the guide, press the ‘INFO’ button on your remote. Select ‘Restart’, press ‘OK’ and the program will restart from the beginning.
