OxyTek PSA Oxygen Generator

Users Guide Model 24

P/N EQ1003

PSA technology uses a molecular sieve to separate Oxygen and Nitrogen present in air. The air contains approx 21% Oxygen and 78% Nitrogen the rest are trace elements like Carbon dioxide, argon and other elements.

This Oxygen Generator uses patented technology to produce oxygen purity at nearly 95% *.

This product is not intended for medical use.

For use in a recreational Oxygen bar ONLY.

Safety Precautions

The Oxygen Generator can rapidly deplete the oxygen in a closed space Do not operate in the vicinity of people or animals where there is not adequate supply of fresh air.

The compressor and heat exchange become very hot after less than 1 minute of operation keep out of reach of children.

This unit is not for Medical use or the sustenance of life, it’s reliability as a source for emergency oxygen has not been tested and such application is forbidden by law.

Oxygen is a non-flammable gas however it is an oxidizer and will rapidly increase the rate and temperature of combustion. This unit must not be used in proximity of flame or smoking for any reason. Do not use with oil. Certain Essential oils and aroma have been found to spontaneously combust in the presence of high purity oxygen. Use only Oxygen Safe Aroma’s with this unit.

Installation and setup

Inspection/Setup

  1. After removing the Generator from the packaging inspect it thoroughly for shipping damage.
  2. Inspect that none of the mounting hardware or connector fittings have worked loose during transport.
  3. Check that the compressor is free to move on the motion dampers
  4. Install the compressor Intake filter by hand tightening on the brass fitting as shown.
  5. Install the glides and adjust them so the generator sits evenly on the floor.
  6. Inspect that the heat exchanger has not been deformed or touching either itself or a part of the generator. Warning very hot after only 1 minute of operation severe burn hazard.
  7. Inspect the proposed generator location to insure adequate ventilation and fresh air source. The generator can deplete the oxygen in a 4’ foot closet in just 7 minutes.
  8. If your unit is equipped with the high bypass flow valve turn it to no bypass as shown.
  9. Before connecting your generator to your aroma Infusor stations. Test your generator by turning it on and analyzing the flow from the output connector. If available put a flow gauge on the output and verify 24 SCFH output.
  10. Connect the generator to the Aroma Infusor stations using the 1/8” vinyl tubing provided if your generator is more than 25’ from the Infusor stations you should use a ¼” ID hose.

(Optional) High bypass valve operation

The bypass valve allows you to redirect air from the compressor directly to the Generator out put without going through the molecular sieve that separates the oxygen. The net effect is that you have a higher flow out of the generator but a lower percentage of oxygen purity. This is useful when you want to enhance the strength of the aroma flow and your oxygen purity is less important like in a trades show setting where sessions are short.

1. When the symbol “MAX” is vertical the bypass is off and the generator is in standard flow high purity oxygen output. When the “MAX” symbol is horizontal the generator is in high flow low oxygen purity mode.
