USCAA All-American

Nomination Guidelines

(Listed by Sport Alphabetically)

General Guidelines

To be nominated as an Athletic All-American you must meet the minimum requirements:

All Sports

1. Play in a sport recognized by the USCAA with a Championship tournament

2. Participate in a minimum of 60% of regular season contests.

*ALL COACHES MUST RANK THE PLAYERS THEY ARE NOMINATING, #1 BEING THE ATHLETE THEY FEEL IS MOST DESERVING OF THE AWARD.

Baseball

  • Nominations for All-Americans shall be presented by the head coach and accompanied by a copy of all game statistics.
  • Coaches shall be able to nominate up to 4 players.
  • Player’s percentages shall include all regular season games (excluding post-season play).
  • All-Americans will be determined by a system set out by the Stats/Power Ratings Committee.
  • Each player will be ranked in comparison to other candidates. The best all-around shall be designated as All-Americans.

Basketball

  • Nominations for All-Americans shall be presented by the head coach and accompanied by a copy of all game statistics.
  • Coaches shall be able to nominate up to 3 players.
  • Player’s percentages shall include all regular season games (excluding post-season play).
  • All-Americans will be determined by a system set out by the Stats/Power Ratings Committee.
  • Each player will be ranked in comparison to other candidates. The best all-around shall be designated as All-Americans.

Cross Country

  • The top 7 finishers from the meet shall be deemed USCAA Cross Country All-American.

Golf

  • The top 5 finishers of the tournament shall be deemed USCAA Golf All-American.

Soccer

  • Nominations for All-Americans shall be presented by the head coach and accompanied by a copy of all game statistics.
  • Coaches shall be able to nominate up to 4 players.
  • Player’s percentages shall include all regular season games (excluding post-season play).
