City growing without build up the urban design plan properly at least that will affect people living and varies issue will appear again and again.

-Fund
All of these things are related to each other, always founded little problem that Lao people build their resident regardless of expanse the street and didn’t useful area. Therefore when the street established others part work such as electricity work, metropolitan waterworks will dig street in order to place wire and pipe later. Its waste the fund instead of systematize by corroborate work together but it can’t compare with the real issues.
The fact of problems is Laos’s urban plan, its complicate shapes and still not good at manage working system therefore didn’t the plan to cope with city growing live coexist with nature as much as it could be. Expand city area for unnecessary reason, its mean Laos government need to invest money in public health and other transportation move near that area. Lack of funds support, people living far away will take such a long time from their residence to get in town. For long-term urban development, I’m very concerned with these issues and I believed that has the way to solve it.
On the other part of world, US create the idea of “Smart Growth” begins since 1960. Look US city from above you’ll see how regularity of urban design in table shapes almost every state, also farsighted to control the city expanse. Consequently US determine urban design issues in two points:
1. City planning will not be the cause of same issues again.
2. The city planning concept will moving forward to repair agriculture area and nature that had been destroyed from the past.
