Comments from the Chair, Paul Shettell:

We have had many great events this year. RetroFest™ 2014 was a huge success and the weather sure cooperated with us once again. I want to give a shout-out to Miss RetroFestDani for representing our event in other local parades and festivals. Along with Ron from the Kent Historic Auto Club who drove her in the parades with his classic car. “thank you to both of you.”

Sidewalk Sales went well with the coordination from Sherry and Lindsay Molema. Thank you for putting that together, and also for the beautification of the Perry Molema Memorial Park at the end of King Street West.

As Fashion Night and the City was unable to run this year, it is our hope that it will be back on schedule for next year. We are looking for anyone of the merchants to step up and facilitate this activity for 2015.

Thanks also going out to Brent Denure for a successful Firefest September 20th, 2014.
