A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky upon the occasion of their 50th anniversary.
WHEREAS, the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky was founded in 1955; it is a trade association affiliated with the Home Builders Association of Kentucky and the National Association of Home Builders, representing businesses and firms from all aspects of the building industry; and
WHEREAS, the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky benefits the Northern Kentucky community by promoting cost effective housing and other structures appurtenant to a community; by providing industry information and education to the membership and the public; by being the recognized authority and respected community and business leader on industry standards and related business issues; and by enhancing the visibility and establishing the credibility of the members as the professionals of their related businesses; and their goal is to promote and support responsible growth in order to maintain a positive economic future for the communities served; and
WHEREAS, since its inception, the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky recognized the importance of change, and the Association works with area governments and agencies to make sure that the infrastructure and amenities grow proportionately to the certain increase in population and quality of life; and the Association has had a long term commitment in recognizing the importance of electing state officials that understand the growth in their community and their willingness to represent the Northern Kentucky citizens with pride and honor as they demonstrate the effectiveness legislation can have on their community; and
WHEREAS, the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky has represented its community with dedication, professionalism, and high standards, and the Association's vision and leadership has brought light and inspiration to so many lives in the Northern Kentucky community; and
WHEREAS, on January 8, 2005, the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky will be celebrating its 50th anniversary at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Hebron, with a social hour, dinner, and program;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby applaud and congratulate the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky for 50 years of faithful service to the citizens of the Northern Kentucky community. We wish success to the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky in all future endeavors.
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky, 209 Grandview Drive, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky 41017.
