1Introduction

To successfully deliver High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) and Backup for SQL Server on Microsoft AzureVirtual Machines (VMs),a high level of knowledge and experience with HADR and backup for SQL Server on Microsoft Azure VMs is required. This document will help delivery consultantsto familiarize themselves with the various area of expertise related to HADR and backup related to. It can also be used by Engagement Managers to set expectations for the resources delivering the offering.

It includes links to training and other readiness material that is focused on the offering and will serve as a launching point to update your knowledge and skills as necessary.
