A RESOLUTION honoring Representative Jack Coleman upon the occasion of his retirement from the House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, Jack Coleman began his legislative career in 1991 upon his election to the House of Representatives from the 55th District; and
WHEREAS, for more than a decade, Representative Coleman has served the citizens of Anderson, Mercer, Franklin, and Spencer Counties with integrity and high ideals; and
WHEREAS, as a member of the committees on Agriculture and Small Business, Appropriations and Revenue, and Education , Representative Coleman has made lasting contributions to the legislative process and has helped to improve the lives of citizens of the Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, Jack Coleman has demonstrated those qualities which exemplify the character of a true public servant;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The members of the House of Representatives do hereby congratulate Representative Jack Coleman upon his departure from this legislative body and wish him a long and successful retirement.
Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in honor of Representative Jack Coleman.
Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Representative Jack Coleman, P. O. Box 600, Burgin, Kentucky 40310.
