A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor of Isaiah Daniel Kelly, Kelly Marie Parker, Ronan O'Connell Karem, and Nicholas David Boswell, recently born grandchildren of Senators.
WHEREAS, the birth of our grandchildren are significant and momentous occasions, with the Grace of God being evidenced through their bright eyes, and it is these babies who are nearest to God, just as the smallest planets are nearest the sun; and
WHEREAS, Isaiah Daniel Kelly was born on October 30, 2001, to his loving parents, Josiah Daniel Kelly and Denise Mendez Kelly; and
WHEREAS, Kelly Marie Parker was born on November 4, 2001, to her loving parents, Ollie Kristine Parker and Shane Parker; and
WHEREAS, Ronan O'Connell Karem was born on September 3, 2001, to his loving parents, Jeff and Kate Karem; and
WHEREAS, Nicholas David Boswell was born on September 26, 2001, to his loving parents, Jayme and David Boswell, Jr.; and
WHEREAS, the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States of America calls on us to secure the Blessing of Liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity; and
WHEREAS, upon the occasion of the births of these grandchildren, we are reminded that these babies are our posterity, and it is because of them that we continue to serve our Commonwealth in order to assure them the freedoms and blessings our Founding Fathers bestowed upon us all; and
WHEREAS, may the blessings of God be upon these little ones throughout their lives, and may they bestow the same blessings upon their own, and continue the Blessings of Liberty to themselves and their posterity;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby congratulate the parents and grandparents of Isaiah Daniel Kelly and Kelly Marie Parker; the parents and grandparents of Ronan O'Connell Karem; and the parents and grandparents of Nicholas David Boswell. We wish to these children and their inspiring families our sincere prayers and fondest congratulations.
Section 2. We further dedicate our efforts toward the common goal of preserving for our posterity, every child and grandchild across the Commonwealth, the opportunity to enjoy lives of success and fulfillment.
Section 3. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving honor of these precious children and their loving parents and grandparents.
