FIELDWORK in your classroom will be allowed:

•If you are a licensed teacher (elementary, secondary, special education, early childhood education) and you have moved into a special education working with students with ID, AND

• You have completed all of the required classes for licensure in the area in which you are teaching (ID), AND

•You have taken the PRAXIS II, Principles of Learning and Teaching for the grade level you are teaching (K-6 or 7-12), AND

•You provide to your advisor your most current CCSD evaluation from your principal. It must be a satisfactory evaluation, AND

•You must sign up for ESP 720 Fieldwork for 8 credits, AND

•We will supervise you over the course of a 16-week semester.

FIELD WORK for initial licensure:

•If you do not possess a teaching license, you must do traditional fieldwork. This involves being placed in a classroom with a master teacher for 16 weeks.
