KCs / · IP Camera rollouts need to be escalated – a meeting has been scheduled to SMT pending money
o Meeting was held with protection services who recommended 26 cameras be installed at Wartenweiler and also that the library pay carry part of the cost
o Paiki is going to take this up directly with Vincent
· EOH received our order, and they will collect the image from LCS
o NOTED: Image was collected yesterday the 19th of June 2017

Managed Print Services – Minolta / · Signage required regarding print queues for students and pricing, signage to be placed near computers, to be escalated to Minolta

o Library process review meeting on Thursday the 22nd of June 2017
o Maps have been updated and CR has sent them to Paiki
· Issue about Sierra not handling funds bigger tha 21 million
o Call was logged with Sierra, Sierra do not have a solution for the problem yet
o Escalated to the technical team – to follow up. (pending)
· GOBI : They tested the EDI, and they also demonstrated the online ordering
o ES to have a teleconferencing with them
o III will do all the setups for us, on workflow
o Meeting tomorrow the 21st of June, afternoon
o GOBI is not free,
o ES: Paiki requested a compressing table
· ES is working on changing the E-resources template

· Neliswa requested two screens for cataloguing staff: the screens will be bought

o Has been rollout complete on Neliswa’s desk, pending the other staff
· Dabra machines at information desk is given problems, waiting new machines
· SM: KC1 & 2 padlocks challenge, LN will start opening the cages before the new computers arrive. / LN

o Any colleague responsible for workroom should ask cleaner to come and vacuum the carpet after staff birthday party or when the carpet is untidy
o Please do not leave wet waste (bones, food, etc.) in the bin in the Workshop, all wet waste must be placed in the kitchen bins
· Help Desk Zendesk:
o Everyone should be checking tickets on the Helpdesk-LCS is short staffed
o Upgrade in text formatting
o Also check the suspended tickets
o CR requested LCS to communicate in a professional and friendly way on Zendesk tickets
o Correspondence needs to be done via helpdesk
o Helpdesk will be audited
o SID to updated Zendesk to show the dates the university was closed
o Customer Relations Management - Awaiting new dates
o If you are going on leave you can transfer your tickets to available agents
o Technicians should close long standing tickets
o SID has updated the Zendesk user portal
o Zendesk invoice was received
· 4 LCS reference books have been received and 2 are still outstanding
· CNS will do subnet switch over for LCS to be able to re-image all the PCs
o The network team has confirmed that they will do a change over for Archt, BioPhy and WCL on Thursday the 15th of June 2017
o To do GeoMaths, Commerce and Law - pending
· Winter workshops are starting on mid July
