·  Responsible for prosecuting felony convictions on appeal and habeas corpus, including capital punishment cases, in the California and federal court systems

·  Wrote and argued two death penalty cases before the California Supreme Court and hundreds of felony appeals before the California Court of Appeals, Second Appellate District

·  Practiced habeas corpus litigation in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court, including conducting evidentiary hearings before the United States District Court

·  Conducted bench and jury trials in the California juvenile and municipal court
