  • Having vast knowledge in Primary Health Care services.
  • Participate in Planning, Implementing and Coordinating Global Fund activities in Malaria prevention and control.
  • Manage and conduct mass immunization campaigns for some of the communicable diseases such as polio, measles, and tetanus toxoid for the whole country.
  • Served as resource person for the sensitization of communities on HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
  • Conduct trainings for health staff from basic health facilities and primary health care villages on various health issues for better service.

2009-2011: Regional Public Health Officer, Ministry of Health, The Gambia

  • Conduct an Effective Vaccine Management assessment in Ghana organised by World Health Organization for two weeks
  • Trained health staff drawn from all the six regions of my country on data quality self assessment
  • Train health staff on impact of floods on health and the preventive measures to be considered
  • Train village health workers and care givers on community case management of malaria
  • Conduct monthly in-service training for health staff within the region for a better care.
