All personal data, including sensitive personal data, required by law for this procedure will be dealt with in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 196 of June 30 2003. Personal data will be processed by an automated system, for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, adopting the security measures required to prevent data loss, incorrect or unlawful use, as well as unauthorized access. Personal data will be communicated to third parties only where necessary to fulfill institutional purposes of the university including, for example, access to the labour market by graduate students and those about to graduate.

For the purposes of processing, the holder of the personal data is the University of Trento. Upon application to the Education and Student Services Management Office holding the data, individuals whose personal data is held are entitled, at any time, to exercise their rights under Art. 7 of the above-mentioned Legislative Decree, including asking for their data to be deleted, modified so as to ensure anonymity, or refused, if processed in violation of law, as well as objecting, for legitimate reasons, to their data being processed.
