Position: Community Impact Coordinator

Reports To: VP of Community Impact

Position Status: part-time, temporary EOE

Salary: $18.00 hr non-exempt

Scope of Position: Facilitation, coordination, and support for United Way’s collective impact efforts. United Way’s collective impact efforts include four partnership networks: Be Ready – making sure children are ready for school; Kids on Track – and High School Graduation – ensuring youth graduate on time; and Working Families Thrive – building economic sustainability for families. This temporary position is designed to support the CI partnership networks through their next phase of implementation, creating accountability and charters, refining work plans, developing budgets, solidifying strategic learning and measurements, etc.

Essential Job Functions:

·  Provide coordination for the CI Partnership networks:

o  Facilitate meetings,

o  Assisting in planning and preparation of meetings materials,

o  Prepare follow-up documents, and communication.

·  Develop and implement community listening sessions regarding the proposed work plans from the CI partnership networks.

·  Support VP of Community Impact and CI Director in the development and implementation of phase two partnership agreements, grant applications, and award process.

·  Maintain relationships with CI partnership network participants.

·  Develop and implement outreach plan for additional CI partnership network participants as identified by each group.

·  Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

·  Group facilitation experience required.

·  Experience and background in Collective Impact practices and principles preferred

·  Strong verbal and written communication skills

·  Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal constructively with a wide range of people, including conflict situations.

·  Program development and coordination experience preferred.

·  Bachelor’s degree in Human Service, Communication field or related field required.
