“The measure of United Way is not in the annual fundraising campaign, but in the ways it impacts quality of life for all of us. United Way recruits people and organizations from across the community with the passion and expertise to get things done. So yes, Untied Way provides financial support, but it also engages volunteers, draws together stakeholders to identify needs and unites us in advocating for change. We know that by working together we can make a difference.

We advance the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. There are some basic things that everyone needs for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job; enough income to support ourselves and our families both for today and through retirement; and good health. In the Fox Cities we are committed to developing children, strengthening families, promoting health and healing, and providing for basic needs. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place.”

United Way will invest in over 100 programs that address community issues. Over 80 United Way community impact volunteers participated in the program investment process, a thorough review of all the programs funded through United Way partner agencies. Funds also support United Way initiatives, including United Way’s PATH for Students, a school-based mental health therapy program, and The Connector, a transportation service provided in partnership with Valley Transit to provide rides for second and third shift workers.
