ALWAYS RULES

“No Contact, No Splashing, No Traveling, You can only hold the ball for 3 seconds

Can’t knock the ball out of a persons hands, No passes more than ½ the length of the pool”

Swim Games Safety

Never go in the deep end of the pool, unless you can swim, no lifeguard is on duty

Never go in water over your head if unable to swim, including 5 foot end

No horseplay, dunking, or holding other students under the water

No diving in the five foot pool,No running in the pool deck area

No swimming in the diving area, you must be able to swim length of 5 foot pool to go in the diving well

“Keep Away”Objective:to have possession of the ball at the end of the designated time limit.

The team with the ball or balls will be awarded one point for each.

First round will be one ball and one minute, Second round 2 balls two minutes, Third round 3 balls 3-4 minutes,

Fourth is 4 balls 4 minutes or remainder of game time

Rules:Always rules, you can’t let the ball just float in front of you to avoid a 3 second count

“Touchdown”Objective:Score points in the endzone, by passing the ball and keeping it dry.

Rules: “Always rules”, the ball must stay dry

Strategies:Stay spread out, make sure your offensive player is in the end zone

“Lane Polo”Objective:To pass the ball to all three lanes and then attempt to score in the goals. The goals are worth one point each. The team with the most goals wins.

Rules:1.Always rules

2. Stay out of goalie zone, only one goalie

3. All scores must be attempted from behind the flags, except girls in outside lanes

4. You must stay in your assigned lane

5. A missed score requires 3 more passes before another attempted score

6. The ball does not have to stay dry

Strategies:Stay spread out, Take advantage that the girls can move in close in the outside lanes

“Basketball”Objective:

Students will play basketball for a time limit. Winning team at the end of the time period wins. If tied the teams will have a shoot-off from the free throw line to determine a winner.

Rules:Always rules

1. No slam dunks or you will sit out, goal tending and basket will count

2. Touching the net or rim will result in one warning and then points for your opponents. Deliberate your out!

3. Ball must be checked to start the game, after all made shots, and free throws. Then you must pass it in.

4. Traveling, walking with the ball is prohibited. You can dribble but ball is live to opponents.

5. Any change of possession you must take the ball back behind the second lane marking. This includes an air ball.

“Volleyball” Objective: Anything goes volleyball, means unlimited hits to get the ball over the net. Points are

scored when the ball goes out of bounds or hits the water before goingover the net. Only the serving team can score points.

Rules:Always rules- All hits are legal and their is an unlimited number of hits

Strategies:Hit the ball upward not forward, stay spread out and play your position
