b. Victor- He is in the story “Seventh Grade.” He is an Hispanic-American who is in love with Teresa and who tries to impress her.
c. Brock- He is in the story “The Last Dog.” He is the boy from the future who goes outside of the dome he lives in and finds a dog, Brog.
d. Teresa- She is the story “Seventh Grade.” She is the girl who Victor tries to impress.

a. He must ask for permission to leave.
12. Why does Brock bring Brog into the dome?
a. He wants to keep Brog safe and to show everyone that dogs still exist. He is very interested in Brog.

a. They do not like emotions. They do not have emotions.

a. He wants the scientists to think that Brog has rabies so they won’t do experiments on Brog.

a. Brock thought dogs were extinct. He learns about things through virtual holograms.

a. He takes off his suit and takes a drink from the brook. This shows that the water is not toxic and foreshadows that Brock and Brog are going to be okay living outside of the dome.
