UNIFORM LOCATION PROVIDER FROM GPS USING ANDROID SMARTPHONE

ABSTRACT

Android smart phones are increasing in day today life with lots of features some of the key features like Gps, wifi, camera, 3G etc.Location-based services are increasingly important for modern mobile devices such as the Smartphone’s. In our project we propose a method for find the locations of various Places according to user location using Gps in offline mode in our project the user can access the important unique data and Information related to the searched location.

We propose a method for searching the location based on the user location The user location can be fetched Using GPS (Global positioning system). Location of current user can be fetched as latitude and longitude values .The user can be able to access our application in offline and in online mode and user can be able to add and update the location to our application .In our project if user download and update the location information from the server and use it in our application.

Existing System

In existing system though we have many web sites portal, and the user can get information about the searched location in web sites

In existing system if user search some location the high level data information will be displayed on the screen

Whenever user want to search the places user need to specify the location of that particular area

In existing system user can be able to access the information which is stored in the server

Disadvantages:

The user can be able to access the location only in online mode the Devices are doesn’t having net all the time.

 And also, the valuable information does not reach people at the time of emergencies.

Its having only for the high level data which are stored in the server .we will not add the any data (Location) to the server manually.

Proposed System

In the Proposed System of implementation, user makes the query to the main data base through our application.

In proposed system Ontology is also implemented in this Project for the Relative Key word Search

If user search some location through our application its take the current location of the application user using Gps

As the user makes the query along with his GPS values to find out the Exact Location from the data base, this processes the query and authenticates the user and then passes the query to the main database

The main system maps the query with its database along with the Location, further this location based information is passed back to the user

Advantages

The user can be able to access the location not only in online mode. The data retrieve the off line mode also.

In existing system only contain the high level data but it contains the deep level data because those data are collect from locally.

The user can update the location manually it will be store the server.
