UKCAT Decision Analysis practice test1

In this month’s issue of Anthropology Today, Dr. Wilma Peoples announced her discovery of a new logogrammatical writing system. This was found on the previously unexplored South Pacific island of Tai-Moa. Though the island is now uninhabited, the early people of Tai-Moa carved stone statues and pillars with symbols representing words. Logogrammatical systems are one of the earliest true writing systems and include Egyptian hieroglyphs. The language of Tai-Moa uses symbols and letters to represent words.

You need to firstly review the sets of general operating and elementary symbol codes shown below and go on to attempt the multiple choice questions. Please indicate the best interpretation of the coded message by selecting option a, b, c, d or e.
