Dear sir/Madam,

I am glad to inform you that Post Graduate Department of Economics will organize National level Seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship Development in India: Challenges and Opportunities’ on 4th of December2014 at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector-26,Chandigarh. It will provide a platform for leading academicians, researchers and professionals to exchange ideas and share research findings. The conference will generate valuable ideas for advancing research in the fields of emergence and growth of entrepreneurship in India. The seminar aims to foster a spirit of innovation among all the professionals of the knowledge sector.

Now considering your interest and expertise in the subject domain, I on behalf of the organizing committee would request you to consider contributing a research paper for the conference on the above said theme by15 September, 2014.List of themes is detailed below. The selected papers will be publishedwith ISBN number. The publication will be released on the day of the Seminar.

The above mentioned sub themes are indicative but not exhaustive and one is free to add any relevant area to the subject.

Paper submission guidelines:

  1. Length of the paper should be from 3000 - 5000 words, single space, 12 point font size, Times New Roman, MS-Word.
  2. Paper margin must be 1 inch on each side (Left, Right, Top, and Bottom).
  3. Follow API style of reference for references and cited work. For more details click
  4. Paper should mention Name/Names of author(s), addresses (postal and email) and mobile number.
  5. Data based original research and quality work, case studies based paper will be givenpreference.
  6. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN.
  7. Tables, Charts and Figures etc. should be serially numbered.

  9. Final paper submission must accompany a certificate by the author(s) that the paper is an original piece of work and has neither been published nor submitted for publication elsewhere.

  • Participants are requested to follow the above mentioned instructions strictly.
  • Please send the article alongwith abstract of about 200 words through e-mail before 15 September 2014.
  • Proceedings with ISBN will cost extra, if need be.
  • We would appreciate if you circulate this information among your colleagues and friends’ to widen the scope of participation. We therefore take this opportunity again to invite you to participate in the seminar.

The registration fee is Rs. 1000/- which you can send by demand draft in favour of ‘Principal, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector-26 Chandigarh’ payable at Chandigarh. Students, retired professionals and Research Scholars will have to pay Rs. 500 as registration fee. Only selected papers of high quality especially empirical papers will be considered for publication in edited book. Late submissions and non-registered entries will not be considered for publication.
