The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), in partnership with the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), is pleased to organise a Clinic on Jobs Bank Portal and WDA Programmes on 19th Jan 2016.
During this clinic, WDA will be sharing on the use of Jobs Bank to facilitate online job matching between employers and local job seekers. They will also be sharing on their Traineeship Programme – a short-term on-the-job training programme that allows participants to acquire new skills and improve their confidence to potentially take on new job roles.
To further assist mature Singaporean PMEs who may face greater challenges in securing a job,WDA will share on the newly-announced Career Support Programme (CSP). CSP encourages employers to tap on the wealth of experience that mature Singaporean PMEs can bring to the workplace. Employers who employ mature workers, who have been unemployed for six months or more, in mid-level jobs that pay at least $4,000, will be given wage support.
Following which, SNEF will introduce the P-Max Place-and-Train Programme which aims to facilitate the entry of PMEs into suitable SME jobs and help SMEs better cope with the challenges of talent recruitment in an increasingly tight labour market. Upon successful completion of the programme, SMEs will be eligible to receive a one-time assistance grant of $5,000.
