I.  Approval of Minutes from the April 7 meeting Matthew Winden and Marshall Anderson moved approval of minutes of area I; motion passed unanimously.

II. A. Reminder – Start talking about 2017-2018 University Curriculum Committee members

B. Proposed Alternative GE Elective Structure - Draft

Liz Hachten went through and discussed a draft proposed alternative Gen Ed Elective structure. The General Education Review Committee will be proposing a revision of the Gen Ed elective categories. Matthew Winden questions the requirements of students. Liz confirmed that there will be no changes in the general education requirements for students. Liz has asked the committee members return back to their college and discuss this draft. She will be sending this draft out to the department chairs to get their feedback.

Marshall Anderson and Zach Oster removed approval of area III. A. 3.1; motion passed unanimously

1. Action from the Department of Social Work

George Ferencz and Teri Frame moved approval of area III. B. 1.1; motion passed unanimously
