No old Business
New Business
Approximately 2.5 hours of extensive discussion on building options by all. Building committee recommended option 6 with a fall back to option 5 if we could not sell the land in a defined period time.
A motion was made by Mark Fletcher that we allocate $22,000.00 for grading and placing gravel on driveway, parking lot and building site. Complete patio and fire pit/grill. Obtain septic/well permit. No structure at this time only site prep. We would also donate $2000.00 to the Western Carolina University Construction Management Club for their significant help with this project. This motion was seconded by Garrett Frank. After discussion, this motion was passed by a unanimous vote.
A motion was made by Mike Cheek that the Kappa Phi Alumni Association allocate up to $2400 for the alumni delegates and up to $1200 for the undergraduate delegates to help defray the cost of attending the 150th Celebration Convention in Troy in August 2014. This motion was seconded by Kent Cranford. After discussion, this motion was passed by a two-thirds vote.
