Al Stewart Is Back – If you missed our most successful concert last year, this is your second chance to see “Al Stewart” as he returns to St. Ann’s on Saturday, June 17th. In his nearly 50 year career, Al has sold millions of records world-wide, and he will be playing his hits such as “ Year of the Cat, Time Passages, On the Border” and others. Church income includes offertory deposited of $470,592 which is $27,949 more than the same period last year. Easter collection of $25,964 compared to $27,980 for last year. The 2017 Easter collection was 7.2% lower than the previous year. Second Collection for Diocesan Priests’ Retirement Fund – This weekend all Catholic churches in Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern shore will conduct a special collection to benefit the Diocesan Priests’ Retirement Fund. Clean Out Those Closets – The SVDP clothing truck will be in our parking lot accepting donations after all masses, the weekend of June 3rd & 4th. Small appliances will be accepted as well as gently used clothing.

Summer Program – St. Ann’s School will have a camp this summer from June 19th – August 14th, designed for our younger campers - ages 3 to 5 years old. The cost is $225.00 per week. The schedule will be 9am-3pm daily with before and after care provided at an additional cost. Weekly themes will include Under the Sea, Animals, Stars & Stripes, Fairytales, Pirates, Rainforest, Beach Week, Camping and the Circus. To register, visit www.stannsummercamp.weebly.com.

58th Memorial Day Field Mass – Monday, May 29th at 10am in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway. A brief military tribute by the VFW Post 475 from Newark is held before Mass. The principal celebrant is Most Rev. W. Francis Malooly. Musicians and Liturgical Ministers are from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Seating and protection from the weather are provided and handicapped parking is available.

Ulster Project Seeks Host Teens - Ulster Project Delaware (UPD) seeks boys and girls ages 14-16 and their families to host teens from Northern Ireland for a month this summer. Eighteen Catholic and Protestant teens from Banbridge, NI, will be in Delaware June 29-July 27 to join their host teens fortrips to New York, D.C., Hershey Park and area beaches; pool parties, dances, shopping, and family picnics; service days, visits to places of worship, and leadership and team building activities designed to develop tolerance and understanding among people with religious and cultural differences.UPD is ideal for teens looking to enhance their leadership skills, have an international experience, fulfill service hours for school, and develop lasting friendships. Honor Mary and all Mothers Campaign - The Monsignor John Dewson Council 13821, Knights of Columbus,will be honoring Mary and all Mothers by collecting items for babies, such as diapers (Size 1), baby wipes, baby bottles & nipples, baby bibs, baby shampoo, baby soap, baby lotion, baby girlclothes (sizes from 3 month up to 12 months) and maternity clothes for women. You may deposit your donations in the Knights of Columbus Bins in the vestibule of the Church starting Saturday, 29 April 2017 until Sunday, 28May 2017. Annual Senior Health and Fitness Day – The City of Wilmington will join with localities and organizations across the US to commemorate the nation’s largest event for older adults. The Dept. of Parks and Recreation is planning a City-wide celebration for our senior citizens at Christina Park, located on 4th and Church Streets in Wilmington on Wednesday, May 24th. Mass at Saint Francis Xavier Shrine – to one of the oldest permanent Catholic establishments in the English Colonies and considered to be the mother church of the Diocese of Wilmington. All are invited to join in the celebration of Mass on Sunday, May 21st at 4pm. Reverend David F. Kelley, Pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Middletown will be the celebrant. Order of Malta Free Lecture – Wednesday May 24th at 6pm at St. Joseph on the Brandywine. Dr. Rocco Martino, also a Knight of Malta, and a renowned and published physicist will speak on “The Cross of Victory” and recent writings. Hope to see you there!

2017 Quo Vadis Days – for High School and College students will be Thursday, July 27 to Saturday, July 29 in Malvern, Pa. This event offers a time of prayer, fraternity, sports, and recreation focused on the life and ministry of the Priesthood.
