Start the week with prep for meetings.

I work with lots of people from many organisationsto improve services for children & young people (c+yp)

It’s really important that we provide good care for c+yp with mental health needs who need to be in hospital@HYouthVoice

Highland Youth Voice say this is a concern for members when unwell. @HYouthVoice

Young people want the right care as close to home as possible and if they need to be away they want home as soon as possible @HYouthVoice

Really encouraging to see Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service & Adult Mental Health Service working on solutions in both HHSCP & A+B

Need to balance age appropriate safe space and expertise

Great that the Dundee team are also involved – this investment is really making a difference

Awaiting inspection report final prep HC Members Seminar performance measures & update from recent Early Years Collaborative event @EYCollaborative

VC is helping local assessment for the Paediatric Unscheduled Care Project @HYouthVoice

They are testing out new approach to emergency care for children & young people, the challenges and opportunities to learn.@HYouthVoice

Just finalising the Assurance Report for Children’s Services delivered by Highland Council on our behalf.

Meeting HC Children’s Service dietician. @HYouthVoice

We are developing driver diagrams for healthy weight -NHSH children & young people have high levels of obesity need to understand whyact (is there a link here to a website for info?)

Colleagues very knowledgeable with insight into issue creativity to support breast feeding to getting active and cooking

Meeting review Health Protection On Call out of hours required for Specialist Public Health Registration

Never know what the phone will bring or response required

Evaluation of Highland Practice Model meeting with Scottish Government colleagues

Leading the way for Child Plan Assessment and meeting needs early in timely and appropriate way and informing SG legislation!!

Must work on needs assessment for Vulnerable Groups to inform joint commissioning.@HYouthVoice

Outcomes for Looked After Children need to be better ensuring timely assessment of health needs@HYouthVoice

Meeting service planning colleagues

Need to develop systems to support clinical decision making for specialist assessments anywhere from Edin to Great Ormond Street Hospital

HYV members say they want to know the roles of staff in local health services & feedback on experience of care they receive @HYouthVoice

Their views are an important part of service improvement feedback @HYouthVoice

Developing notice boards with role descriptions & contacts for each school group –how is this progressing Ainya Youth Convenor?@HYouthVoice
