Unparalleled Charging Options with Advanced, Proprietary Focusing Optics
A powerful and clear beam is essential for every law enforcement officer, first responder or outdoorsperson. As an added plus, the multiple recharging capabilities make daily tasks easier and quicker. Coast, in turn, has responded with its exclusive Flex Charge Dual Power Rechargeable System built into the new HP314R. It features the Pro-Tek Charging Port – its tail cap pops up to reveal a micro-USB port that the charging cable plugs into. There are no parts to lose, and the system stays clean from dust and debris. The HP314R rechargeable battery pack includes a USB out port, which allows the recharging of other devices that use USB cords via the battery pack.
The dual-powered HP314R includes the high-quality lithium rechargeable battery pack, but standard alkaline batteries can also power the light. Notably, batteries can be charged inside the flashlight, or outside, so users can always have a fresh battery ready for any work at any time. The high and low output modes, combined with sliding focus, allow users to choose the exact brightness they need for every job. Lower power options conserve battery life.
The X-Range Spot Beam is intense and delivers a bright, focused light at far distances, while still offering a consistent circle of light in the Broad Flood Beam mode. The focused spot beam distance is maximized at 2,762 feet (842 meters) using alkaline batteries. The HP314R also features an unbreakable LED and rubberized O-ring for water resistance and durability.
The HP314R is built tough with an impact-resistant, water-resistant, lightweight aluminum casing that resists rust and corrosion, like all of Coast’s high-performance lights. The HP314R’s Slide Focus lets users focus the flashlight by moving the front bezel forward or back. The ingenious, Coast-exclusive Cyclone Heat Sink System decreases heat buildup, facilitates maximum light output and increases LED lifespan.
The quick cycle switch is especially useful as it allows users to select between the HP314R’s high output setting of 1,200 lumens, a high-powered strobe mode, or a low output of 165 lumens when using alkaline batteries. With rechargeable batteries, the HP314R has a high output setting of 1,000 lumens, a high-powered strobe mode or a low output of 105 lumens. Whether the HP314R is operated by four D-cell batteries or the rechargeable battery pack, the output is long lasting. The run times equate to 10 hours or 3 hours, 15 minutes on high power (with lithium or alkaline batteries, respectively) and 85 hours or 94 hours on low power (with lithium or alkaline batteries, respectively). The HP314R, like all Coast Products, is backed by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.
