Tutuka Instructions to Tender, ID Fan Unit 4-6 Field Equipment and DCS

INTRODUCTION

The Contractor provides for as a take out option, the detailed pricing and costing for the design and installation of the trunk cabling, racking and trays from the junction boxes/enclosures (excluding the JB/Enclosures) to the existing DCS Marshalling, marshalling and DCS designs, HMI design, PIS design, vibration monitoring system and etc. as per the table below.

The Contractor specifies the scope of the take out option as per the sections below:

Works Information Section 1.3.5.2 C&I Unit 4-6
a. / The installation of trunk cabling, cable trays, and racks as required by the Works from the junction boxes/enclosures up to the termination points in the DCS/Marshalling control cubicles
b. / The implementation of maintenance, operating and control philosophies in the existing DCS and BPS
c. / ID fan system protection interfaces from the localised enclosures/JB to an existing BPS (Boiler Protection System)
d. / A link (meaning PIS and HMI re-configuration) from the DCS HMI to the existing PIS / PDS to accommodate the new inclusion of ID Fan signals / tags is provided for as a takeout option.
e. / Integration of the system drawings in unit 4-6 system to show the instruments in the field and connections all the way to the DCS marshalling/control cubicles.
7.2.8.6.4 Automatic Stall Detection and Warning System
a. / Provide for the wiring from localised enclosures/JB to the DCS as a takeout option
b. / Implementing in the DCS, the stall detection and warning logics.
7.4.2.1 Vibration Monitoring System
a. / The new Bently Nevada Vibration Monitoring System.
b. / Vibration monitoring system (Bently Nevada) interfaces to the DCS. The interface (monitoring and alarming) of vibration monitoring system to Units DCS
7.4.2.3 Variable Blade Pitch Control
a. / The interface (monitoring and alarming) of the variable blade pitch control to DCS
7.4.3 Boiler Protection System (BPS)
a. / The interface of the ID fan system protections from the local enclosures/JB to BPS. The Interface includes the following as a minimum, trunk cabling, cable racking/trays, terminations in the marshalling/control cubicles and HMI and PIS
7.4.4 Human Machine Interface (HMI)
a. / The design and integration of the new ID fan mimics into the existing HMI for control and monitoring of the ID fan system. .
7.4.5 Plant Information System (PIS)
a. / A link (meaning PIS re-configuration) from the DCS HMI to the existing PIS / PDS to accommodate the new inclusion of ID Fan signals / tags.
