Role of Money in Health Determinants:
Quitting smoking – It’s the most expensive habit to keep and costs nothing to quit. It has to be a decision, it’s not an issue of money.

Mobile Mammogram is missing from the Tulsa area. If we get enough companies interested, OU Physicians may be able to provide. Contact Ann if you are interested in mobile mammogram at your location.
Twelve Weeks to WellnessDina Cundith
Group Program that provides accountability and partnership.
4 hours per week that includes physical activity, nutrition (cooking classes), and stress management (yoga and guided imagery)
Looking for 10-15 people this summer as a pilot group.
Includes free membership to the YMCA
Workplace Wellness SymposiumJohn Lieber, RN
Targeted to wellness professionals for employers.
Date TBD – 9am-4pm
Morning Core Sessions/Afternoon Break-Out Sessions
Basic and advanced track providing practical applications, written materials/resource tool-kit.
Topics include Legal Implications, Wellness Incentives, Bootcamp for Wellness Program Beginners and Successful Wellness Implementations

Army Core of Engineers is hosting a wellness fair for their employees on March 7th. We look forward to a report at next meeting.
May 15th – National Employee Health and Fitness Day
Plan a fun event at your location. Chair Massages, volleyball, smoothie making, etc.
