OLD BUSINESS & TASK GROUP UPDATES:

Audio-replays (mp3 format) for the past 5+ years are available for download on the EBA website. Listen to the calls with one of several “fast-playback” Android and iOS Applets (Contact Dennis for assistance). Here is a summary of the previous two calls:

·  August – 79 lines. “Wetlands: ASTM 1527-13 Non-Scope Considerations” EBA Members (and consistent meeting sponsors!) Judy Marth and Dana Lingle of TetraTech, Inc. explained how Wetlands may represent additional environmental issues or conditions that should be assessed. If wetlands are not considered upfront, they can lead to regulatory compliance issues or delays in project development goals.

·  September – 55 lines. “Bitcoin, Blockchain.. and XMS by MereSecure®” This would be a great call to download and listen again. This is knowledge we should all carry in both our personal and professional lives. What is Bitcoin Cryptocurrency (we have a couple of Risk Call participants that are “Crypto- Millionaires); What is Blockchain and how it is being rapidly adopted by US lenders, attorneys, and companies; What is XMS by MereSecure and how you can access integrate it into your job function.
