PWDCTC is fortunate to have Amy DeLong, certified Tellington TTouch practitioner, to present the essentials of TTouch in this two-hour workshop.
Pet Junction, 57 W County Rd E, Shoreview, MN 55126
The Tellington TTouch® is a kind and respectful way of working with animals to help them overcome a variety of health and behavior issues. Developed over 35 years ago by Linda Tellington-Jones, it is widely used around the world by trainers, shelter workers, veterinarians and assistants, and others. TTouch recognizes the link between posture and behavior and uses bodywork, movement exercises, and specific equipment to release tension and promote a feeling of well-being.
TTouch® compliments other positive training methods, improves focus, and deepens your bond with your dog- regardless of age, breed, or activities.
There is something for everyone is this seminar, including useful information for competition and therapy dogs. TTouch is especially helpful for all anxiety.
In this workshop you will learn
- What TTouch® is, how and when to use it
- Two TTouch® body wraps
- Four bodywork techniques
- How to identify and reduce your dog’s stressors
