A) Ask each student using Q&A 100 (3 rounds)

B) Ask question(s) five times in various speed to be written down.

e.g.) How old are you? How long have you learned English?

C) Write down the questions on the blackboard for students to check.

D) Students write down their own answers. If possible, add some more.

Each student asks “Can you read/write…?”

Other students try to answer the questions.

e.g.) Can you read 「鯖」, Jeff?

3. Introduction of new materials on p.86

A) Skit

Akii asks Jeff “When do you go to Hanami/swim/enjoy red leaves/ski?”

Jeff answers “I … in spring/summer/fall/winter.”

Students guess what’s going on.

B) Explanation of the new material- Akii

4.Pattern practice
