Introduction:Tsirco-Spray on Surface Retarder is a product suitable for the production of exposed aggregate finishes. It is ideal to be applied on the surface of freshly layed concrete.

Properties:

Appearance: Pale Yellow

Flash Point: Not applicable

Freezing Point: Solidifies approximately at 0oC but when the temperature returns to normal, the performance of the product is not affected.

Where to use:

Tsirco-Spray on Surface Retarder is suitable for three purposes:

Expose aggregate in order to give decorative finishes on horizontal surfaces.

Provide a rough bonding surface at construction joints.

Provide a rough bonding surface for rending and bonding tiles.

How to use: Tsirco-Spray on Surface Retarder is ready for use and it should be applied to concrete surfaces immediately after application. The retarder surface should be removed between 8 and 18 hours after treatment, by using brush or water spray to expose the aggregates. At high ambient temperatures it is recommended to treat the surface as soon as possible after the bulk of the concrete has set.

Usage: The depth of exposure of the aggregate depends on the cement content of the mix, temperature, water/cement ratio, cement characteristics, dosage etc. One litre will treat approximately 5-15 square metres of surface.

Storage Life: Tsirco-Spray on Surface Retarder does not require special storage conditions. Avoid freezing conditions or direct sunlight in summer.

Handling Precautions: Tsirco-Spray on Surface Retarder is not hazardous to health since the chemicals used are non-toxic and non-flammable.
