Trip Information

This trip will be sponsored by EF Tours ( a premier leader in student tours. Please visit their website for information on insurance, safety, and more. The chaperones for this trip will be Ms. Menna (Spanish Teacher), and various other Seaholm teachers as needed.

On the tour, the first three days will be spent in Barcelona. Excursions will include a guided tour of Las Ramblas, the social center of Barcelona. The following day, students will exploreParque Guell, a park designed by renowned Spanish artist Salvador Dali, and La Sagrada Familia, the still unfinished cathedral by Dali.We will also explore the city of Barcelona on a walking tour with an experienced EF tour guide. Next, we will travel by high speed train to the capital of Spain, Madrid, where we will take a guided tour of the Royal Palace and view a flamenco dance show. The following day we will visit the world famous El Prado art museum as well as take a half-day trip to the city of Toledo, the former Gothic capital of Spain.

The cost of the trip includes flight, hotel, transportation, tour guides, and breakfast and dinner. The cost of the trip does not include daily lunch and beverages, spending money, passport fees, and tips for the tour director and bus driver. We require all students attending this trip to purchase the all-inclusive insurance plan which is included in the price of the trip.

We have already held our winter parent meetings for the trip. Your parents can email Sra. Menna () to receive the parent informational PowerPoint and discuss any questions or concerns.

If you are selected to go on the trip, you will be required to pay a $95 non-refundable deposit online ( or by calling EF tours at 1-800-665-5364 (Tour #1909262AM). Please do not enroll on the tour until your application has been approved!

Required Student Meetings will be held on 1/31, 3/7, and 5/2 in Room F107 from 7:45-8:15.
