Tri Beta Officer Descriptions

EXECUTIVE OFFICER POSITIONS (must be FULL member to run)
President: Runs bimonthly Tri Beta meetings, plans and organizes different events, makes sure everything runs smoothly (basically oversee everything). But note that there is TONS of support from everyone else. Tri Beta is definitely a TEAM effort (notice that every other position’s job description includes “assists in organizing and planning events.” (must be full member)
Current President: Michael Herr
Vice President: Also oversees and organizes events, runs meetings and events when president is absent, and is there to pick up the president’s slack! (must be full member)
Current Vice President: Jeremy Armstrong
Secretary: Takes minutes at each meeting, writes any letters of correspondence (thank you letters, etc.), also assists in organizing and planning events. (must be full member)
Current Secretary: John Legge
Treasurer: Handles all money and manages the Tri Beta account, assists in organizing planning events. (must be full member)
Current Treasurer: Daniel Darnell
Historian: Updates the scrapbook and board with current photographs of recent activities, assists in organizing and planning events. (must be full member)

COMMITTEE CHAIR POSITIONS (all members eligible to run)
Publicity Chair: Creates flyers for meetings and events, submits information to the CBU Connection (basically makes sure everyone knows what is going on with Tri Beta), assists in organizing and planning events.

Social Chair: Provides “treats” for meetings and events, assists in organizing and planning events.
Current Social Chair: Erin Green
Fundraising Chair: Organizes general fundraising for Tri Beta (such as bake sales), assists in organizing and planning events.
Current Fundraising Chair: Caitlin Clay
Philanthropy Chair: Organizes service projects for Tri Beta (see website for past service projects such as the Tour d’Esprit 24 hour foot race), assists in organizing and planning events.
Current Philanthropy Chair: Antony Eddy
Volleyball Chair: Heads up one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, the annual Faculty/Student volleyball game benefiting the ChurchHealthCenter, assists in organizing and planning events.
Current Volleyball Chair: Nicole Bates
Bowl-a-thon Chair: Heads up another one of our biggest fundraisers, the annual Bowl-a-thon benefiting Hope North (an organization serving the African nation of Uganda), assists in organizing and planning events.
