Term overview:
Aim: To develop throwing, catching, movement, agility, tactics, teamwork and communication skills.
By the end of the term children will understand the rules of Bench Ball and apply all of these skills in a competitive
Bench ball match.
Progress and regress where required, foundations of plan can be set for KS1 if needed, spending more time within objectives A & B / Observation / Student self-assessment / Oral questioning / Peer assessment /
Quiz / Student presentation / Written work and feedback / Verbal feedback
On completion of this term the following assessment criteria would have been covered:
A)Move and understand the importance of finding space both in and out of ball possession
B)Pass appropriately to a target while looking to create space to get on the ball again
C)Recognise and understand the tecniqual and tactical parts of the game towards positionalsense, offence and defence
D)Play competitive games of Bench Ball and evaluate performances

Mini game: 6 vs 6 (2 games at same time) with three defenders in 1 zone, attackers in another zone
