SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

ASPRS-RMR Guidelines for the Fall 2006 Academic Scholarship

UNDERGRADUATE AWARD

1.Student shall be enrolled full-time or equivalent .
2.Student shall be a junior or senior in good academic standing.
3.Student shall have a declared major in a field related to ASPRS.
*Examples: Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, Optical Engineering, Geosciences, Geography, Life Sciences, Public Planning and/or Policy, Etc…
4.Application shall contain at least one letter of recommendation from a professor.
5.Applicants shall submit a completed application form (see attached).
6. Student shall have at least one session of school/research remaining before graduation when the scholarship is awarded.
Note: Preference will be given to those studies that apply sound scientific principles in remote sensing and/or photogrammetry to practical applications and/or to those presenting their work at an ASPRS- sponsored conference.
Note: Scholarships shall be based on academic merit, not on financial need.
Previous ASPRS RMR Scholarship winners are not eligible

GRADUATE AWARD
