See as many as you can This is vital to ensure that you are getting exposure to trauma

PRE-HOSPITAL:Become familiar with pre-hospital care and the intricacy of the NSW pre-hospital trauma service. Spend some hours in the field with the Ambulance Service

Log Book of Pre-Hospital Trauma Cases Seen

Minimum Requirement to have attended scene of 6 traumas

RETRIEVAL:Spend time with Careflight and become familiar with how retrieval system works

RESUSCITATION:Become familiar with the clinical issues in resuscitation

DEFINITIVE CARE: Involved in the observation of the clinical care of trauma patients at the Hospital both in the operating theatre and on the trauma ward

RURAL TRAUMA CARE:

May potentially get the opportunity to look at the rural aspects of trauma care

BRAIN INJURYSpend some time in Brain Injury at Liverpool Hospital

Involve yourself in Area Wide Trauma education (Nadia)
