Trap Shooting with Arnold Junior Shooters:

Meeting at Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club: January 15 at 12:30

There are 3 levels of seriousness you can participate in trap shooting:

1)  Competitive shooter, even if you are a beginner – this requires 1 - 2 practices a week, required competitions, and can be quite expensive in terms of shotgun shells, uniform, and travel. High level of commitment.

2)  Fox shooter: We shoot once a month all year around as recreational shooters with Arnold Junior Shooters, but when we have a competition coming up, we practice with the competitive kids. We have 2 competitions, one in April and one in September. Low level of commitment until competition-time, then high level.

3)  Recreational Shooters with ARPC. They practice once a month and may choose to shoot in a competition now and then. Low level of commitment.

There is some cost associated with this activity for insurance cost, coaching, and you provide your own shot shells. There are some guns that can be used during practices, but you must let a coach know ahead of time that you will need one.
