1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010—

(a)to prescribe further offences for which an infringement notice may be served, and to prescribe infringement penalties for those offences; and

(b)to make consequential amendments as a result of the commencement of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Conduct on Public Transport) Regulations 2015.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 215 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 27 June 2015.

4Amendment of regulation 2—Authorising provision

(1)In the heading to regulation 2 of the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010[1], for "provisions" substitute "provision".

(2)In regulation 2 of the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010, for "sections 215, 215G and228ZZPB" substitute"section 215".
